Nuong Ho is the creative mind and dedicated owner behind BMT Coffee Co. She loves crafting and putting things together, whether it’s in her business or at home with her two kids. Coffee isn’t just a drink for Nuong—it’s a passion deeply rooted in her family’s history. For over 20 years, her parents have grown Vietnamese robusta coffee beans from the ground up, teaching her the value of hard work and quality. Through BMT Coffee Co., Nuong shares her love for coffee and helps others improve their productivity with tips and hacks, all while honoring her family’s legacy.
The story of BMT Coffee Co. starts in the rural coffee fields of Buon Ma Thuot, Vietnam. Life here wasn’t easy. Nuong Ho grew up in a small village where every day was a struggle. Her parents faced the difficulties of living in a third-world country, where resources were scarce, and opportunities were even rarer. Despite these challenges, they dreamed of creating something that could support their family and make a mark on the world.
Building a Coffee Farm from Scratch
Nuong’s father decided to pursue that dream by starting a coffee farm. He began with just a small piece of land, pouring his heart and soul into learning how to grow the best robusta coffee beans. It wasn’t easy—there were many long days and tough times—but slowly, the farm began to thrive. The coffee beans they produced were rich and full of flavor, a true testament to their hard work and dedication. As the farm grew, so did the family’s hopes of sharing their coffee with people beyond their village.
Facing New Challenges
But as the farm succeeded, new challenges arose. Even though their coffee was some of the best around, getting it to people outside of Vietnam was a struggle. The family faced barriers in distribution, marketing, and international trade, all of which seemed insurmountable. Nuong watched her parents work tirelessly, knowing their coffee deserved a place on the global stage, but the dream of sharing it with the world seemed farther away than ever.

Nuong realized that if they were going to make their dream a reality, something had to change. She knew they needed a way to reach coffee lovers around the world—people who would appreciate the care and quality that went into every bean. With determination, Nuong took on the challenge of creating a brand that could do just that. She founded BMT Coffee Co., a company that would bring her family’s premium Vietnamese coffee to a global audience.
